Stillhour: Privacy Policy
Effective October 10, 2026. This policy is for the Stillhour game for Meta Quest, made by Alan Nordyke ("we").
What the game uses, and why
- Your microphone. Some moves are cast by saying their name. The game listens only while it's running, and the speech is turned into commands by a speech model that runs on the headset itself. The audio isn't recorded, saved, or sent anywhere. You can turn voice commands off in the game's wrist menu, or say no when the headset asks for microphone access. The game still works, but the voice moves won't.
- Your settings and progress. Things like comfort settings and which creatures you've tamed are saved in the game's own storage on your headset, so they're still there next time. They never leave the headset.
What we don't do
- We don't collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any other personal information.
- We don't use advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.
- We don't sell or share data with anyone, because we don't have any.
Meta
When you get Stillhour from the Meta Horizon Store, your Meta account, your purchase, and your headset's system features are handled by Meta under Meta's own privacy policy. If the game checks that it was installed from the store, that check goes through Meta's platform on your headset.
Children
Stillhour is meant for players aged 13 and up. It doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Deleting your data
Everything the game saves is on your headset. To delete it, uninstall Stillhour (Library, then the game's menu, then Uninstall). That removes all of its saved data. We don't hold any copy of your data, so there's nothing on our side to delete. If you have a question about it, contact us below and we'll answer.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
